Which equation is correct? (6 points) sec x° = opposite ÷ adjacent cosec x° = opposite ÷ adjacent cosec x° = hypotenuse ÷ opposi
Paraphin [41]
We know that
 see the attached figure to better understand the problem

sin x°=opposite ÷ <span>hypotenuse
cos x</span>°=adjacent  ÷ hypotenuse
cosec x°=1/ sin x°-------> hypotenuse ÷ opposite
sec x°=1/ cos x°-------> hypotenuse ÷ adjacent

therefore
case A) <span>sec x° = opposite ÷ adjacent------------> is not correct
case B) </span>cosec x° = opposite ÷ adjacent ------------> is not correct
case C) cosec x° = hypotenuse ÷ opposite ------------> is  correct
case D) sec x° = adjacent ÷ hypotenuse------------> is not correct

the answer is
the equation cosec x° = hypotenuse ÷ opposite is correct

onsider two populations for which μ1 = 38, σ1 = 2, μ2 = 23, and σ2 = 4. Suppose that two independent random samples of sizes n1
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Center = 15

Spread = 0.599

Shape = Normal

Step-by-step explanation:

The provided information is:

\mu_1=38 \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \mu_2 = 23\\\sigma_1 =2 \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \sigma_2=4\\n_1=45 \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ n_2 =59

Thus the center(mean) of the distribution is:

\begin{aligned}Mean &= \mu_1-\mu_2\\&=38-23\\&=15\end{aligned}

The spread (standard deviation) of the distribution is:

\begin{aligned}\textrm{Standard deviation}&=\sqrt{\frac{\sigma_1^2}{n_1}+\frac{\sigma_2^2}{n_2}}\\&=\sqrt{\frac{4}{45}+\frac{16}{59}}\\&=0.599\end{aligned}

The shape of the distribution is also normally distributed.

The range of three numbers is 17.the mode is 24 and the median is 24 ? What are the three numbers?
vivado [14]

The answer is 7, 24, 24.

The median is the middle number.

The mode is the number which occurs the most.

The range is the difference between the largest number and the smallest number.

Since 24 is the middle number, it is the median.

Since 24 is also the number which occurs the most often, it is also the mode.

To find range, do 24-7 which is equal to seventeen.

<em>Hope it helps</em>
