Homologous structures are similar because of common ancestry.  A homologous structure is an example of an organ or bone that appears in different animals, underlining anatomical commonalities demonstrating descent from  a common ancestor.

If there will be greater amount of osteoclasts than osteoblasts than the osteoclasts will allow calcium, present in bones to get dissolve which causes deformity of bones known as Osteoporosis (demineralization of the bones).
