My thoughts and habits when it comes to the nutrient called fat, is that it is necessary to have a balanced nutrition, the body needs fat, but if you ingest too much, it can cause diseases.

<h3>What is lipid metabolism?</h3>

Lipid metabolism refers to the synthesis and degradation of lipids in cells. This metabolism involves the decomposition or storage of fats (to obtain and store energy) and the synthesis of structural and functional lipids, such as those involved in the construction of cell membranes.

<h3>What are fats?</h3>

Basically, there are three groups of fats that we consume in our daily lives:

  • saturated
  • unsaturated
  • and trans.

Within each group there are several other types of subdivision. Unsaturated fats include polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids.

With this information, we can conclude that my thoughts and habits when it comes to the nutrient called fat, is that it is necessary to have a balanced nutrition, the body needs fat, but if you ingest too much, it can cause diseases.
