Juliet conducted a survey to find the favorite type of book of the students at her school. She asked 20 students from her class
what their favorite type of book is. Juliet concludes that short stories is the favorite type of book of the students in her school because 80% of the students in her class like short stories. Use at least two sentences to explain why Juliet's sample may not be valid and how she can improve her surveying technique. Make sure to use facts to support your answer. (5 points)
This may not be the best examples because it only accounts for one class in one grade. Depending on the age of the student, they may like different kinds of books, and so having one age for a sample isn't a good representation. A better way to do it is randomly select a similar number of students from each grade level and survey them together.
Quadratic expressions are mathematical expressions that have the power of one of its alphabets being equal to and not more than two. The given expression in the question can be simplified as 81 + 162 - 45 - 54x - 112
Algebraic expressions are mathematical expressions that consist of given number(s) and alphabet(s). When the power (exponential) of one of the alphabets is given as two, then the expression can be classified as a quadratic expression.
Thus the given expansion of the quadratic expression can be simplified as follows:
There would be 49 dots because each number is a square number. You skip 1 so every square‘s number is one less than the square root of the number of dots.
