A megaliter is 10000 times larger than a hectoliter.

<h3>How to find required result ?</h3>

Here, Megaliter = 10⁶ & hectoliter = 10²

To find how many times megaliter is larger than hectoliter, we have to divide the value of megaliter by the value of hectoliter.

Then we have to expand the powers & cancel common terms of numerator & denominator. Thereafter we get the value by which megaliter is larger than hectoliter.

<h3>What is the required value ?</h3>

First we have to divide 10⁶ by 10² we get, 10⁶/10²

Now we have to expand, we get, (10×10×10×10×10×10)/(10×10)

Now cancel (10×10) we get,  (10×10×10×10) i.e. 10000

Hence 1 megaliter = 10000 hectoliter

If the drawing of your octagon (or whatever) has been separated into triangles, and one triangle's area<span> is labeled, then you do not need to know the apothem. Just take the </span>area<span> of that one triangle, and multiply by the number of sides in the original </span>polygon<span>.</span>

A petrol kiosk p is 12 km due north of another petrol kiosk q. The bearing of a police station r from p is 135 degree and that f
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

Distance between P and R is 40.15 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the picture attached,

Petrol kiosk P is 12 km due North of another petrol kiosk Q.

Bearing of a police station R is 135° from P and 120° from Q.

m∠QPR = 180° - 135° = 45°

m∠PQR = 120°

m∠PRQ = 180° - (m∠QPR +m∠PQR)

             = 180° - (45° + 120°)

             = 180° - 165°

             = 15°

Now we apply sine rule in ΔPQR to measure the distance between P and R.

\frac{\text{sin}(\angle QPR)}{\text{QR}}= \frac{\text{sin}(\angle PQR)}{\text{PR}}=\frac{\text{sin}\angle PRQ}{\text{PQ}}

\frac{\text{sin}(45)}{\text{QR}}= \frac{\text{sin}(120)}{\text{PR}}=\frac{\text{sin}(15)}{\text{12}}

\frac{\text{sin}(120)}{\text{PR}}=\frac{\text{sin}(15)}{\text{12}}

PR = \frac{12\text{sin}(120)}{\text{sin}(15)}

PR = 40.15 km

Therefore, distance between P and R is 40.15 km.

Solve for z. <br><br> -10-z=10+2z+2z
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

z=-4

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify 10 + 2z + 2z to 10 + 4z

Add 10 to both sides

Simplify 10 + 4z + 10 to 4z + 20

Subtract 4z from both sides

Simplify -z - 4z − z− 4z to -5z − 5z.

Divide both sides by -5 − 5

Simplify 20 / 5 to 4
