The doctor feels the need to intervene in the baby's birth as the baby will not be able to breathe and the umbilical cord will squeeze the baby and will choke it.

What is labor?

Labor is a process that happens during the progressive contraction at the time of birthing a baby through the cervix of the uterus. When the baby's position gets changed and struck during the concentration forceps are used to guide the baby.

The baby's birth should be intervened in case of an emergency because the umbilical cord may squeeze the baby and will make it oxygen deficient. The bones may also get fractured resulting in damage to the nerves and causing disability.

Therefore, the baby's birth should be intervened.
