The average speed traveled by car is 35m/s.

1^{st} case

  • Speed=50m/s\\
  • Time =20s

       Distance = speed*time= 50*20=1000m

2^{nd} case

  • Speed=30m/s
  • Time=30s

       Distance=30*30=900m

3^{rd} case

  • Speed=20m/s
  • Time=10s

       Distance=20*10=200m

Now, The total distance=(1000+900+200)m=2100m

        Total time=(20+30+10)s=60s

       Average distance =\frac{total distance}{total time} = \frac{2100}{60}=35m/s

During forced exhalation, such as when blowing up a balloon, the diaphragm and chest muscles create a pressure of 72.0 mm Hg bet
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

F = 580.75 N

Explanation:

The force can be calculated through the following formula:

F = PA

where,

F = Force = ?

P = Pressure = (72 mm Hg)(133.322 Pa/1 mm Hg) = 9599.18 Pa

A = Area = (605 cm²)(1 m²/10⁴ cm²) = 0.0605 m²

Therefore,

F = (9599.18\ Pa)(0.0605\ m^2)

<u>F = 580.75 N</u>

sveta [45]

A moving charged particle creates a magnetic field around it. Charge through a wire creates a magnetic field around it, the properties of which can be determined using a right hand rule.

  All magnetic fields are created by moving charged particles. Stationary charged particles do not generate magnetic fields. An electromagnet is a magnet that relies on an electric current to produce the magnetic field.

i hope this really helps..

A pump increases the pressure in the flow of water from 120 kPa to 400 kPa. The inlet and outlet diameters are 9 cm and 3 cm res
Alina [70]

Answer:

4.433 kW

Explanation:

Suppose the flow rate is the same at the inlet and outlet at 57 m3/hr.

Since 1 hour = 60 minutes = 3600 seconds we can calculate the flowrate in m3/s

\dot{V} = 57 / 3600 = 0.0158 m^3/s

As we are neglecting loss from friction and elevations changed, the power delivered by the pump is the product of the change in pressure and the flow rate

P = \Delta P \dot{V} = (400 - 120)*0.0158 = 4.433 kW
