Area

Find the Area of shaded figure.

Solution:

Problem 13.

 • A = π r²
 • AB= π (2inch)²
 • A = 2 x 2
 • A = 4inch π
 • As = π(4inch)
 • A = 4 x 4
 • A = 16inch
 • A = 4inch x 3.14 = 12.56
 • A = 16inch x 3.14 = 50.24
 • A = 50.24 - 12.56
 • A = 37.68units²

Problem 14.

 • A = Radius ,13²
 • A = (3.14)
 • A = 13 x 13
 • A = 169π
 • A = 3/8 x 169 π
 • A = 3 × 169
 • A = 507
 • A = 507 ÷ 8
 • A = 63.375π
 • A = 63.375 x 3.14
 • A = 198.9975 inch²

Problem 15.

 • A = π r²
 • A = 10cm
 • A = 10cm x 10cm
 • A = 100cm²
 • A = 100 cm² - 78.5
 • A = 21.5cm²

(a - b)(a 2 + ab + b 2) HELP
Mila [183]
Hey there :)

( a - b )( a² + ab + b² )
Let us distribute ( a - b ) into the other

a ( a² ) + a ( ab ) + a ( b² ) - b ( a² ) - b ( ab ) - b ( b² )
a³ + a²b + ab² - a²b - ab² - b³

We can further simplify
a²b - ab² = 0
ab² - ab² = 0

a³ - b³

You can see in the picture which I have attached. It is the 8th formula

Find an equation of the line that satisfies the given conditions.
Through (-3, -4); slope -5/2
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

y = - 5/2x - 23/2

Step-by-step explanation:

b = y - (slope)(x)

b = -4 - (-5/2)(-3)

b = -4 - 15/2 = - 23/2

y = -5/2x - 23/2
