Answer:

y=ax+b

a=-0.6020457867

b=-2.256697516   <------- There is your value for b, which is the answer to the problem.

You can use these values for a and b to generate an equation in slope-intercept form, which you can then enter under Y= and view the graph.

Write an equation in slope intercept form of the line that passes through the point (-5, -1) with slope -3.
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

y= -3x-16

Step-by-step explanation:

slope intercept form is written as y=mx+b.  m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept.  -3=m

we know that (-5,-1) is 5 points away from the origin, and that the slope is -3, so 5 times -3 equals -15.  subtract 15 from -1 (y-coordinate) in order to get the y-intercept (when x=0).

Analyze the diagram below and complete the instructions that follow. (7x - 3) (12x -7) Solve for x.
yarga [219]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(7x-3)(12x-7)

we are solving for x and we are multiplying.

we start with the x's 7x*12x=  84x

-3*-7=21

so now we have

84x+21=0

the 0 is a placer for answering the question

we minus 21 to both sides

84x=-21

now we divide

84/-21= -4

x=-4

Help asap do all show work
love history [14]

y=-x

slope for perp line = 1

2y=-x+6

y=-1/2x +3

slope for perp line = 2

15.

i don’t wanna do all sorry it’s a lot of work so i’ll tell u how to do it instead. first write it in slope intercept form which is

y-y1=m(x-x1)

it’s parallel which means it shares the same slope. if it’s perpendicular it would be opposite reciprocals so for -3/2 the perp slope would be 2/3.

the line is

y+1=3/4(x-4)

we distribute the 3/4 so it’s now

y+1=3/4x-3

then we subtract the 1

y=3/4x-4 is the equation boom done

Recent study of alcohol drinking practices among college students found that the average number of drinks per week consumed was
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Here as we can see that minimum drink a person can drink is 0 and is

(3.5-0)/2 =1.75 std deviation away from mean

which reflects that distribution;s right tail is more extended

therefore option A is correct: Distribution is right skewed
