Human activities such as burning of fossil fuels is the main cause of acidic pH of the ocean.

Explain the role of human activity in the pH of the ocean?

The pH of the ocean tends to increase because of human activities that increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This CO2 is dissolved into the ocean and makes the ocean more acidic.

Variable of climate (x) and biodiversity (y) would be added to evaluate the role of human activity in the pH of the ocean.

So we can conclude that human activities such as burning of fossil fuels is the main cause of acidic pH of the ocean.
