The number of combinations is given by  1000

Using the Fundamental Counting Theorem, it is found that there are 1000 possible numbers that Lina could pick.

<h3>What is the Fundamental Counting Theorem?</h3>

It is a theorem that states that if there are n things, each with n_1,n_2,........n_n  ways to be done, each thing independent of the other, the number of ways they can be done is:

N=n_1\times n_2\times n_2\times........ n_n

In this problem:

The number is more than 5000, hence the first digit can be 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, hence n_1=5 .

The second digit is prime, that is, 2, 3, 5, or 7, hencen_2=4.

For the third digit, there are no restrictions, hence n_3=10.

The number is odd, hence the fourth digit can be 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9, hencen_4=5 .

Hence the number of combinations is given by:

N = 5 x 4 x 10 x 5 = 1000

Pose a word problem base on this solution
timama [110]
My mom has trouble understanding math... I decided to give her an easy equation. 3/6 km+1/5km = 15/40 +8/40. She asked me what I did. I told her that I multiplied both equations to get a denominator of 40. Then she said "what about those top ones" "oh... well" I said " whatever I multiplied to the bottom I have to do to the top!" Anyway back to the problem. Well... somehow all of this equals 23/40. This is because when you add 15 + 8 that equals 23! So wait a sec what is this on the bottom she asked. well... I am unsure why don't you tell me. She said that the 4 needed to have been added to it.. but the four was too much so they took away one. Good enough! The answer is 3 and 17/40

brilliants [131]
The GCF of the first two is 4p³q².
The GCF of the second two is 8pq⁵.
The GCF of the third two is 4p²q⁵.
The GCF of the fourth two is 8p²q.
The GCF of the fifth two is 4p²q.

To find the GCF of each pair, find the greatest number that will divide into each coefficient.  As for the variable portions, choose the variable that has the smallest exponent from each pair.

Find the unknown angle. Show your work.
Blababa [14]

Answer:

x = 58

Step-by-step explanation:

By exterior angle theorem:

x \degree + 41 \degree = 99 \degree \\  \\ x \degree  = 99 \degree  -  41 \degree\\  \\  x \degree  = 58 \degree\\  \\ x = 58
