Subtract the x on the left from the 2x on the right side
a is the answer as the only change is the gradient being halved,
b would be if it was -1/2 and c would be1/2 x+1/2

If you observe the given expression, 2x can be taken out common leaving the expression which cannot be factored any further.
14x² - 12x
= 2x (7x - 6)
