Step-by-step explanation:

again, we can transform every equation by doing the same operations on both sides of the "=" sign.

really every operation and function is possible normally, as long as you apply them to both sides.

1.

P = 2(l + b) = 2l + 2b

now to have only b on one side. what do we need to do ?

first, let's move 2l to the other side. we do this by subtracting 2l from both sides :

P - 2l = 2b

ok, and now, how do we get b from 2b ? by dividing by 2 ! again, as always, in both sides :

(P - 2l)/2 = b

b = (161 - 2×45)/2 = (161 - 90)/2 = 71/2 = 35.5 cm

2.

C = 2×pi×r

r should be alone on one side. what do we do ?

let's first divide by 2 (on both sides) :

C/2 = pi×r

ok, and now the same trick just with pi. we divide both sides by pi :

C/(2pi) = r

r = 144.44/(2×3.14) = 144.44/6.28 = 23 cm

3.

m = 5t²

now, we want to get t all by itself on one side.

first we divide (both sides) by 5 :

m/5 = t²

and how do we get t from t² ? by pulling the square root (sqrt()). again, as always, on both sides :

t = sqrt(m/5)

t = sqrt(180/5) = sqrt(36) = 6 seconds

PLEASE HELP ASAP!! WILL MARK BRAINLEST
ss7ja [257]

Answer: y=

Step-by-step explanation:

y=mx+b is the slope-intercept form of a line, with m representing the slope and b signifying the y-value of the y-intercept. Because at x=0, y=4, the y-intercept is (0,4), and b=4.

Slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) where (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are both points on the line

To find the slope of the line, choose two points on the line with whole number coordinates:

(0,4) and (-3,0)

Now, plug these values into the slope formula:

slope=(4-0)/(0-(-3))

slope=\frac{4}{3}

Therefore, m=\frac{4}{3}.

Substitute m and b into y=mx+b:

y=\frac{4}{3} x+4

Solve the equation. 8x2 – 4 = 28
Flura [38]
Hello,

Your answer would be 2, -2.

8x^2 - 4 = 28

8x^2-4+4=28+4

8x^2 = 32

\frac{8x^2}{8}=  \frac{32}{8}

x^2 = 4

x = +/4

x = 2 or x = -2

2 , -2 would be the answer! :)

Which equation can be solved using the expression -3 plus or minus the square root of (3)^2+4(10)(2)/2(10) for x?
monitta

Answer: B. 2=3x+10x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression means the quadratic function equation.

B = 10x^2 + 3x -2 = 0

the equation is [-b ±√(b^2 -4ac)]/2a

b should be +3 to become -3 when it is plugged into the equation, and 'a' should be 10, and c should be -2.
