Answer:

The Roots have what are known as Root Hair Cells on their surface, these Root Hair Cells increase the Surface Area of the Root allowing a more efficient absorption of Water and Mineral Ions. Found within the cells is a large Vacuole. the role of any Vacuole is to hold the nutrients (mainly salts and sugars) needed for the cell to carry out its multiple functions. So, with this Vacuole being large, it allows more of these nutrients to be held for the Root.

How can I remember the definition of sticky end? Read below for the definition. I need help memorizing it.
mamaluj [8]
I’m not sure if this helps much, but try thinking of an Aloe Vera plant. When you cut into it, you expose the the sticky center. The part you cut has a “sticky end.” So, think of a knife as the restriction enzyme, and the plant as the DNA molecule that you’re cutting. Hope this helps.

Is diffusion the only way materials can enter the cell? Explain.
Anettt [7]
Of course not! There's lots of ways materials can enter. It also depends on the cell; whether it has cell wall and cell membrane or only cell membrane.

Besides diffusion, there's also osmosis and active transport.

If the cell has only cell membrane, it means it's partially permeable, which means osmosis can happen.

*hope this helps :)
