If a current of 2 amps is moving through a circuit connected to a 12 V battery, what is the resistance of the circuit?

Physics

The resistance of the circuit, when current is moving through it, is 6 ohm.

<h3>What is current?</h3>

The current is the stream of charges which flow inside the conductors when connected across the end of voltage.

If a current of 2 amps is moving through a circuit connected to a 12 V battery.

So, I = 2A and V= 12 V

From the Ohm's law, V =IR

R = V/I

By substituting the values, we get

R = 12/2

R  6 ohms

Thus, the resistance of the circuit is 6 ohm.

To make 2 molecules of water, you need 2 molecules of hydrogen plus 1 molecule of oxygen. If I have unlimited amounts of oxygen
Semenov [28]
Hey there,

So first we need to know how much molecules are there in 4 grams of hydrogen right?
In one gram of hydrogen there are 6.0221415 multiplied by 10^25 molecules right?(this number is known as avagadors constant )

And to make one molecule of water u need two molecules of hydrogen and one of oxygen.
And oxygen is unlimited right?

So when we have 6.0221415 grams of hydrogen tow if these are required to make one water.
So divide that by two and you get 3.0110704 multiplied by 10^25.
So the answer is you can make the above number of water molecules.

Hope this helps!!!

A conveyor belt is used to send burgers through a grill- ing machine. If the grilling machine is 1.2m long and the burgers requi
puteri [66]

Answer:

Rate = 1.71 burger/min

Explanation:

Length of the conveyor belt is given as

L = 1.2 m

time taken to cook one burger is given as

t = 2.8 min = 168 s

now we can find the speed of the belt as

v = \frac{distance}{speed}

v = \frac{1.2}{168}

v = 7.14 \times 10^{-3} m/s

Now we know that the distance between two burgers is given as 25 cm

d = 0.25 m/burger

now the production rate of burgers is given as

Rate = \frac{v}{d}

Rate = \frac{7.14 \times 10^{-3} m/s}{0.25 m/burger}

Rate = 0.0286\frac{burger}{sec}

Rate = 0.0286\times 60\frac{burger}{min}

Rate = 1.71 burger/min

H2SO4 + NaOH &gt; Na2SO4 + H2O. Balance this reaction if necessary. A) balanced B) 1,2,1,2 C) 1,2,1,4 D) 1,2,2,2
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

B) 1,2,1,2

Explanation:

  • The balanced chemical equation will be;

H2SO4 + 2NaOH → Na2SO4 + 2H2O

  • The equation for the reaction is balanced by using coefficients; 1,2,1,2
  • According to the law of conservation of mass the mass of the reactants should be equal to the mass of the products.
  • For the law of conservation of mass to be obeyed, chemical equations must always be balanced.

A person in a hurry averages 70mph on a trip covering a distance of 500 m. what time was required to travel that distance?
DENIUS [597]

The time required to travel that distance at the given speed is determined as 15.84 seconds.

<h3>Time of motion</h3>

The time of motion of the person is calculated as follows;

Distance = speed x time

time = distance/speed

where;

  • distance = 500 m = 0.31 mile

time = (0.31 mile)/(70 mph)

time = 0.0044 hr = 15.84 seconds

Thus, the time required to travel that distance at the given speed is determined as 15.84 seconds.
