Koala bears are not really bears, even though they resemble bears. They live in Australia in eucalyptus trees. They feed on the tree leaves. They are smaller in size, about two feet long. Since the panda and koala are endangered species, they are now protected by the governments in the countries in which they live. No one is allowed to take pandas out of China or koalas out of Australia.​
