Pepsin, a common enzyme found in the stomach, is most active at pH values between 0.5 and 2.5. It works slowly between pH values
Anon25 [30]
Ph value between 0.5 and 2.5 is the optimum temperature of the pepsin which means its the most active. When temperature increase above the optimum temperature it will cause a rapid decrease in the rate of reaction. High temperature breaks the bond that keeps the enzyme (pepsin) in shape. The enzyme will denature and become inactive.
