The range in the average rate of change in temperature of the substance is from a low temperature of 1 F to a high of -11 F.

<h3>What is a formula for Fahrenheit?</h3>

The conversion formula for a temperature that is expressed on the Celsius (°C) scale to its Fahrenheit (°F) ;

°F = (9/5 × °C) + 32.

Given function:

f(x)= -6 sin(7/3 x+ 1/6) -5

The function will be maximum at the 7/3 x +1/6= 3π/2

So, the maximum temperature will be

= -6 sin (3π/2) -5

= 6 -5

= 1 F

The function will be minimum at the 7/3 x +1/6= π/2

Therefore, the maximum temperature will be

= -6 sin (π/2) - 5

= -6 -5

= -11 F

Answer:

(7x² - 4x) unit²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = width × height

Width = 7x - 4

Height = x

Area = x ( 7x - 4)

Area = (7x² - 4x) unit²

Three numbers X, Y, and Z are in the ratio 2:7:8. If 12 is subtracted from Y, then three numbers form a geometric sequence (in t
Dimas [21]
A geometric sequence is a sequence in which there is a common ratio between any two consecutive terms. In this case if X:Y:Z are in the ratio of 2:7:8 the multiplying by a constant k, we have X=2k, Y= 7k and Z=8k.
Then if  X, Y-12, Z form a Geometric sequence, it means X/Y-12=Y-12/Z which is the same as 2k/7k-12=7k-12/8k if we cross multply, we get
   16k²= 49k²-168k +144
  33k²-168k+144 =0 solving for k
k = 4 or 1.091 if we take the whole number  to find the values of X,Y and z,
X= 8, Y= 28 and Z=32

A. 4 packs of pencils and 3 packs of erasers B. 4 packs of pencils and 5 packs of erasers C. 5 packs of pencils and 3 packs of e
amid [387]
C. 5 packs of pencils and 3 packs of erasers. it is c because no matter what 20(the pack of erasers) is multiplied by it will always end in a zero, therefore you would have to multiply 12 by a number that would make it a multiple of 20 as well which happens to be 5. 5×12=60 and 3×20=60
