The values of m and n from the given equation are 1/4 and -2

<h3>Polynomial functions</h3>

Given the polynomial function below

f(x) = mx^4+2x^3-3x^2+nx-4

If the zeros are 2 and -2, hence;

0 = 16m+16-12+2n-4
0 = 16m-16+12-2n-4

_______________
16m+2n = 0
16m - 2n = 8

Subtract

2n+2n = -8
4n = -8

n = -2

Substitute for "m'

16m + 2(-2) = 0
16m = 4

m = 1/4

Hence the values of m and n from the given equation are 1/4 and -2

How do I find the sides of a right triangle using sine, cos, or tan, with only the three angles and the hypotenuse
Yuki888 [10]

In this right triangle, you are given the measurements for the hypotenuse, c, and one leg, b. The hypotenuse is always opposite the right angle and it is always the longest side of the triangle. To find the length of leg a, substitute the known values into the Pythagorean Theorem. Solve for a2.

Hope this helps!

The weights, in ounces, of three different packages of cookies are listed below. Which list shows these weights in order from le
blsea [12.9K]

Answer: C. 7.25, 7.7, 7 1 7

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, we are given the weight , in ounces, of three different packages of cookies and we are told to arrange them in ascending order that is, from the least to the greatest.

The least of the numbers is 7.25. After then we have 7.7 and the greatest is 717. Therefore this can be arranged as:

7.25, 7.7, 7 1 7

Therefore, the correct option is C.

What are the domain and range of the function f(x)=-3(x-5)squared+4
svet-max [94.6K]
Domain is all real numbers
range
hmm
we know that x^2=a positive number
then multiply it by that negative -3
therefor the range is going to be mostly negative
if we make the x-5  equal to zero, then there is no negative, so
wher x=5, then f(5)=0+4=4
the highest positive number you can get is f(5)=4

so therfor

domain=all real number
range is x≤4

Use the properties of logarithms to write the following expression as one logarithm. logs logr + 8logr s − 3logr t
ankoles [38]
To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:
 1. You have the following expresssion given in the problem above:
 <span> </span>log(s)log(r)+8log(rs)-3log(rt)&#10;<span>
 2. By using the logarithms properties, you have that the product of two logarithms can be written as a sum:
 </span>log(s+r)+8log(rs)-3log(rt)&#10;
 3. The sum can written as a product and the susbtraction as a division. The number 8 and 3 can be written as exponents:
 log(s+r)(rs)^8/(rt)^3&#10;
 Therefore, the answer is: log(s+r)(rs)^8/(rt)^3
