Which means they believed that there was a god or goddess for every aspect in life, they built temples for a particular god or goddess, and believed in many gods led by Zeus that lived on mount Olympus. Two Differences in Sparta and Athens’ religion were that Athens has the patron goddess Athena, while Spartans favor the god Ares.
