Step-by-step explanation:

sin(x/2) = sqrt((1 - cos(x))/2)

cos(x/2) = sqrt((1 + cos(x))/2)

tan(x/2) = sin(x/2)/cos(x/2)

sin(x) = 15/17

so, we can assume the Hypotenuse of the right-angled triangle is 17, the vertical leg is 15.

via Pythagoras we get the 3rd, horizontal side :

17² = 15² + side²

289 = 225 + side²

64 = side²

side = 8

cos(x) = 8/17

sin(x/2) = sqrt((1 - 8/17)/2) = sqrt(9/34) = 3/sqrt(34) =

= 0.514495755...

cos(x/2) = sqrt((1 + 8/17)/2) = sqrt(25/34) = 5/sqrt(34) =

= 0.857492926...

tan(x/2) = 3/sqrt(34) / 5/sqrt(34) = 3/sqrt(34) × sqrt(34)/5 =

= 3/5 = 0.6

The slope, m, of a linear equation can be found using the formula m = v2 - v1/x2 - x1 , where the x- and the y-values come from
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

y2 = m(x2-x1)+y1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression;

m = y2-y1/x2-x1

Making y2 the subject of the formula

Cross multiply

m(x2-x1) = y2-y1

Add y1 to both sides

m(x2-x1)+y1 = y2-y1+y1

m(x2-x1)+y1 = y2

Hence y2 = m(x2-x1)+y1

An item that has been marked up sells for a profit. If an item sells that has been marked down, can it still produce a profit? E
lana66690 [7]

Yes, it can. On most things (especially clothes and furniture) they will be already marked up 100% before the mark down. For example; even if they have a, let's say, 40% off sale on the shirt, they will still make a 10% profit off the shirt. So pretty much in most cases, there will still be a profit out of the merchandise.

This is for the Journal Activity on e2020. The words required to pass the written response are as follows: Yes, profit, less, more, greater, much.

Use any 2 of those words in your response and you will pass it.

Have a good day everyone! :)
