Answer:

A policy of neutrality.

Why did Woodrow Wilson want to stay neutral and avoid participating in WW1?

Money. The US profited fully from the conflict without taking any risks. In order to satisfy American industrialists, the British made care to place additional orders from US suppliers when they placed an economic blockade on Germany. Prior to the US entering the war, the Allies in the US spent an incredible amount of money. When the US Army mobilized for the war in 1917, one of its biggest problems was that it couldn't find contractors to meet its demands. Because the British and French paid more and occasionally offered performance incentives, the majority of US contractors choose not to complete American contracts. Depending on the source, the British spend between 4.5 billion and 5 billion pounds on short-term loans, food, and raw supplies for the war, or 16 billion to 20 billion dollars at the time (1 to 4 exchange rate). In order to address the French debt, which JP Morgan sold to the US government in 1917, the British had to step in and pay off certain short-term loans. Getting engaged in the conflict was not in the best interests of the United States. The US had little to gain from any engagement, there were no important US interests that needed to be safeguarded, and there was no call for war from the American people.

What is the “Dark Ages” of Europe? (To answer this question and meet the requirement of 100 words, consider the living condition
elixir [45]

Answer:

Because of the many invasions, it is more appropriate to refer to the Middle Ages as the "Dark Ages." The period under consideration saw a number of invasions. The Vikings were a well-known group of invaders that came from Scandinavia. Then, after robbing villages and bringing their treasure home, they would return to their homeland. They killed and set fire to innocent peasants and townspeople, causing widespread devastation. As a consequence of these assaults, many people were left homeless and starving. Those who were lucky perished in battle. It was also common for Vikings to abduct and transport innocent people to their homelands, where they would be forced to work as slaves. Another reason why the Middle Ages should be referred to as the Dark Ages was war.

kupik [55]

Answer:

Explanation:

One day I heard that our ancestors were cave painting. It seemed so interesting to me! I was not sure whether they did it for decorating or if they were just training. I decided to try myself in the role of a primitive artist. I took Bear's tools from a storehouse and started to scratch everything that I saw: the walls, the postboxes and the furniture. The Screwdriver was my favorite tool. It was so entertaining. When I got to Bear's antiques he saw me aaand... scolded me!

It turned out that scrabbling drawings and words on everything was known to be vandalism. Bear explained to me that our ancestors

What limited the president's ability to nominate federal judges
Diano4ka-milaya [45]
It is the United States "Senate" that limits the president's ability to nominate federal judges, since one of the jobs of the Senate is to "confirm or deny" such appointments.
