The total amount of fencing they need = 38x + 10.

Perimeter for the rectangular fencing of the home = 160 yards

Perimeter for the square fencing of the pool = 40 yards

What is the Perimeter of a Rectangle and a Square?

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + width)

Perimeter of a square = 4(side length).

Perimeter for the rectangular fencing of the home = 2(3 + 10x + 2 + 5x) = 2(15x + 5) = 30x + 10

Perimeter for the square fencing of the pool = 4(2x) = 8x

The total amount of fencing they need = 30x + 10 + 8x = 38x + 10.

If x = 5, then:

Perimeter for the rectangular fencing of the home = 30x + 10 = 30(5) + 10 = 160 yards

Perimeter for the square fencing of the pool = 4(2x) = 8x = 8(5) = 40 yards.

bezimeni [28]

If earning more money from a college degree occurs, a researcher is interested in finding out. She is aware that the average annual household income in thousands is μ<=80.

The null hypothesis is a claim made about the population parameter in relation to the test's goal and in opposition to the alternative hypothesis.

  • The term "null hypothesis" refers to a researcher's attempt to reject or "nullify" a commonly held assumption (such as that the sky is blue). A null hypothesis is "a statistical theory suggesting that no statistical relationship exists between given observed variables," according to a more formal definition.
  • It always contains = , ≤ , ≥ signs.
  • The results will be examined using a one-tailed hypothesis test.

       Hence, μ<=80

What is the area of the figure need help ASAP 6th grade math
Lelu [443]

Answer:

Hi, so if I remember correctly, you find both parts of the figure using the area formula for each shape and then add them together. Then if you have correct math you should have your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Take 4 times 11 because you use base times height- that should be 44

2. Then take one half times 14 times 8( one half times the base times the height)

3. Add both of the answers of 1 and 2 and that should be the answer

mandy's square quilt measures 99 inches on each edge. how many yards of trim does she need to buy to go around the entire quilt?
stira [4]

There are 36 in in a yard

36 in ------> 1 yd

99 in ------> x

x = (99)(1)/36
x = 2.75
99 inches equals 2.75 yards and that is the amount of trim that Mandy needs to go around the entire quilt
