What kind of voting system normally is most likely to lead to a two-party political system?

History

Answer:

First-past-the-post

Explanation:

The single candidate voting method that prevails by far is A first-past-the-post (also called "plural", "relative majority", or "winner takes all"), in which each voter votes on a choice, and the choice that receives the most votes wins, even if it receives less than the majority of votes combined.

This sort of system tends to quickly create favorites and concentrate the options so the votes "won't be lost" during the election by trying to elect a candidate that is less known (many candidates are prematurely dropped for the perceived notion of "not-standing-a-change" against bigger parties).

President Roslin of Country XYZ knows that a new policy is needed to help solve the problem of rising unemployment in her nation
kondaur [170]

Ps: I do not know if you did not describe the whole issue here, but you follow my response to employment-generating policies based on the economic mainstrean.

Employment generation policies depend in principle on the structural features of the country. The president may choose to create new industries or encourage those in which the country has relative advantage of production in relation to other countries. A strategic factor for the generation of jobs is to guarantee an economic and institutional environment conducive to foreign investment and reinvestment of companies. For this, the government must be transparent and signal clear rules to the market.

Who controls how federal aid is spent under Nixon? Under JFK/LBJ?
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

you have LBJ to thank for Medicare, Medicaid, and Head Start. He championed the right for minorities to vote, buy homes, and go to school the same as whites. Johnson's Great Society program created the National Endowment for the Arts, the Public Broadcasting Corporation, and drivers' education.3

You also have him to thank for the scar of the Vietnam War, which he escalated but could not win.

LBJ's increased government spending added $42 billion, or 13%, to the national debt. It was almost double the amount added by JFK, but less than a third of the debt added by President Nixon. Since Johnson, every president has increased the debt by at least 30%

It also boosted gross domestic product during Johnson's term. As a result, LBJ was one of the few presidents to avoid any recessions. The unemployment rate fell during the years he was in office.
