There is a total of 10 games played.

How many games are played?

There are 5 players, If we select a given player, then that player will play one game with each of the other 4 players.

So we have 4 games at the moment.

Now we select one of the other 4 players, (we don't count the one we choose before). The one that we choose now will play one game wich each one of the remaining 3, so we add 3 more games.

Now we do the same with the remaining 3, this time we add 2 more games.

Now we do that with the remaining 2, now we add 1 more game.

Adding all the games we have:

4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 10

There is a total of 10 games played.

A video game club charges a fixed annual membership fee of $18 and $3 per video game rented. Let f(n) represent the total annual
user100 [1]
Since there is a flat membership fee of $18, the y intercept is 18. And since there is a $3 fee per number of video games rented, n, the slope or rate of change of the linear equation is 3. The slope-intercept form of a line is:

f(x)=mx+b, where m=slope and b=y-intercept so in terms of n, games rented, the cost, f(n) is:

f(n)=3n+18

Find the square inches
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

16 square inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

Split the shape into a rectangle and square. To solve for square, just mulitple the 2 sides (2 x 2) and you get an area of 4. To solve for the rectangle, you can multiple the 6 and 2 to get the area of 12. Add the 4 and 12 together and you get 16 square inches. Hope this helps!

lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Mrs. Adams will earn $3,120 of interest at the end of year 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

Simple Interest

In simple interest, the money earns interest at a fixed rate, assuming no new money is coming in or out of the account.

We can calculate the interests earned by an investment of value A in a period of time t, at an interest rate r with the formula:

I=A.r.t

Mrs. Adams deposited an amount of A=$12,000 into an account that earns an annual simple interest rate of r=3.25%. We must find the interest earned in t=8 years. The interest rate is converted to decimal as:

r=3.25/100=0.0325

The interest is then calculated:

I=12,000\cdot 0.0325\cdot 8=3,120

Mrs. Adams will earn $3,120 of interest at the end of year 8.
