Inventory Turnover = Cost of goods sold/Average Inventory

Inventory Turnover:

2021 6.3  =1200000/((170000+210000)/2)

2022 9.5  =1425000/((210000+90000)/2)

2

Days in Inventory:

2021 57.9 or 57.8 days     =365/6.3

2022 38.4  days  =365/9.5

Inventory turnover is an economic ratio displaying how usually an employer has sold and changed inventory in the course of a given duration. An organization can then divide the days within the length with the aid of the inventory turnover system to calculate the times it takes to promote the stock on hand.

Answer:

Total Production for the month of November shall be = 26,800 units

Explanation:

Sales for the month shall be as follows:

October = 28,000

November = 25,000

December = 31,000

It is provided that inventory of finished goods at month end = 30% of next month's sales.

Thus Opening Inventory of November = 30% of sales

= 25,000 \times 30% = 7,500 units

Total Production for the month shall be = Sales for the month - Opening Inventory + Closing inventory to be maintained.

Sales for the month = 25,000

Opening Inventory = 7,500

Closing Inventory to be maintained = 31,000 \times 30% = 9,300

Thus, Total Production for the month of November shall be = 25,000 - 7,500 + 9,300 = 26,800 units

what is the connection, if any, between comparative advantage (ca) and foreign direct investment (fdi)?
Yuliya22 [10]

CA has nothing to do with FDI. Countries often engage in FDI in industries where the country they invest in has a comparative disadvantage.

When a nation's businesses make investments abroad, it promotes comparative advantage CA in the same sector at home.

What is comparative advantage -

The ability to create goods and services at a lower opportunity cost, not necessarily at a higher volume or quality, is referred to as having a comparative advantage.

What is FDI-

An entity based in another country makes an investment in the form of controlling ownership in a company in another country. This investment is known as a foreign direct investment (FDI).

You’ve collected the following information from your favorite financial website.
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

-9.92%

Explanation:

P₀ = Div₁ / (Re - g)

  • Div₁ = next year's expected dividend = $1.12 x (1 - 11.5%) = $0.9912
  • Re = cost of equity = ?
  • P₀ = current stock price = $62.91
  • g = dividend's growth rate = -11.5%

Re =  (Div₁ / P₀) + g

Re = ($0.9912 / $62.91) - 11.5%

Re = 1.58% - 11.5% = -9.92%

Since the cost of equity or required rate of return cannot be negative, I suppose that investors are not worried about Abbott distributing dividends, instead, they prefer that the company reinvests earnings in new projects.

Selecting a base year and expressing each amount as a percent of the base year amount is called:
Sliva [168]

The process of selecting a base year and expressing the amount as a percent of the base year amount is referred to as trend analysis. Percentage change can be calculated between two periods or over a longer period of time.

Percentage change between two periods:

Subtract the earlier year from the later year. A negative difference means the change is a decrease. A positive difference means it is an increase. Then divide the change by the earlier year's balance.

Percentage change over a longer period of time:

1.    Select the base year.

2. Divide the amount in each nonbase year (for each line item) by the amount in the base year and multiply by 100.

How should a person cope with situational factor for which there are ethical confident skills?
ipn [44]

Self-confidence is considered one of the most influential motivators and regulators of behavior in people's everyday lives (Bandura, 1986). A growing body of evidence suggests that one's perception of ability or self-confidence is the central mediating construct of achievement strivings (e.g., Bandura, 1977; Ericsson et al., 1993; Harter, 1978; Kuhl, 1992; Nicholls, 1984). Ericsson and his colleagues have taken the position that the major influence in the acquisition of expert performance is the confidence and motivation to persist in deliberate practice for a minimum of 10 years.

Self-confidence is not a motivational perspective by itself. It is a judgment about capabilities for accomplishment of some goal, and, therefore, must be considered within a broader conceptualization of motivation that provides the goal context. Kanfer (1990a) provides an example of one cognitively based framework of motivation for such a discussion. She suggests that motivation is composed of two components: goal choice and self-regulation. Self-regulation, in turn, consists of three related sets of activities: self-monitoring, self-evaluation, and self-reactions. Self-monitoring provides information about current performance, which is then evaluated by comparing that performance with one's goal. The comparison between performance and goal results in two distinct types of self-reactions: self-satisfaction or -dissatisfaction and self-confidence expectations. Satisfaction or dissatisfaction is an affective response to past actions; self-confidence expectations are judgments about one's future capabilities to attain one's goal. This framework allows a discussion of self-confidence as it relates to a number of motivational processes, including setting goals and causal attributions.
