A) Linear velocity, v = ωr           ω = Angular velocity, r = radius.

ω = 40 revolutions per minute.  1 minute = (1/60) hour.

= 40*2π radians / (1/60) hour = 4800π radians per hour          π = 3.14

= 4800*3.14 = 15072 radians / hour

but radius, r = 30 inches,  63360 inches = 1 mile,  30 inches = (30/63360) mile

Linear velocity, v = ωr

                       v = 15072 radians / hour *  (30/63360) mile
                       v ≈  7.136 miles / hour

b) Linear velocity, v = ωr
                           v = 8.9 radians/second * 20 cm
                           v = 178 cm/s

We know that a class interval must be greater than what the I formula solution is; however... What is the solution for class int
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Therefore the answer is 20.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that

class interval = range / number of classes

But here number of classes is not given , so we use the formula

class interval = range / ( 1+ 3.322 log N)

where , range =maximum - minimum = 220-100 = 120

N= number of observations = 50

class interval = 120 / ( 1+ 3.322 * log 50) = 18.06

Rounding up to a convinient number

Thus , class intervai = 20

Therefore the answer is 20.

Answer both question for 20 points and brainliest
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

1 - c

2 - A

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey There!

So for the first one we are given the dimensions of a rectangular prism and they want us to find the volume

Remember to find the volume we use the equation

V = length x width x height

so we just plug in the values

v = 2.6 x 2.1 x 3.9 = 21.294

the closest is 20 so C is your answer

For the second one we are given a triangular prism

and they want us to find the volume

V=\frac{1}{2} bhl

b = base (10.3)

l = length (4)

h = height (7)

7x4=28

28x10.3=288.4

then we divide by 2

288.4/2=144.2

so your selected answer is correct
