The role interest groups serve in the policy-making process, Groups educate and conduct essential research on specific subjects for policymakers and the general public.

Interest group Organize people to take part in collective action through voting, fundraising, and informing the public and elected officials about their issues in order to promote citizen participation in governance.  They influence the parties and government officials toward (or away from) particular public issues.

That is why an essential method for communicating the public's concerns to the government is through interest groups they play a important role in politics and policy making.
