The management salary is $19,429

What is ratio?

Ratio is the quantitative relationship between two numbers which shows the number of times an amount or a number is contained within the other amount or number.

In this case, a ratio  of 8:7 shows the number of times the management salaries is contained within the management trainee salary

The management salary has a  value of 8 whereas the management trainee salary has a value of 7 as shown below:

salary ratio=management salary/management trainee salary

salary ratio=8/7

management salary=unknown(assume it is X)

management trainee salary=$17,000

8/7=X/$17,000

cross multiply

8*$17,000=7*X

X=8*$17,000/7

X=$19,429

The fact that annual management trainee salary is $17,000 means that the management salary is $19,429 annually.

Find the common denominator of 6 and 4.
6: 6, 12...
4: 8, 12...

We can use 12 for this example.

5/6 to ?/12.
12 / 6 = 2, therefore do 5 x 2.
5 x 2 = 10. 10/12.

1/4 to ?/12.
12 / 4 = 3, therefore do 3 x 1.
3 x 1 = 3. 3/12.

13/12. 1 1/12.

I believe you ran out of space or didn't put answer D. I researched this question and concluded that the other choice is 1 and 1/12.

The answer is 1 and 1/12.

Find the volume of the cone of with a height of 6cm and a diameter of the base or 6cm
Ainat [17]

Answer:

The volume of cone v= 113.04 cm³.

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula used to find volume of cone is:

v= \pi * r^2 * \frac{h}{3}

where r is the radius and h is the height of cone.

In the given question we are given:

height h= 6 cm

diameter d= 6 cm

We know radius r = d/2 = 6/2 = 3 cm

so, volume will be:

v= \pi * 6^2 * \frac{3}{3}

v= \pi * 36

v=113.04

So, the volume of cone v= 113.04 cm³ given height h= 6cm and radius r= 3cm
