48/21 in simplest form.

Divide both 48 and 21 by 3.

48 ÷ 3 = 16

21 ÷ 3 = 7

So, our answer is 16/7

This is the lowest that it could be simplified.

Please help me solve this problem!
damaskus [11]

Answer:

x = 200 packages.

B

Step-by-step explanation:

1 strip of tape = 2.375 inches

Each package requires 4 such strips or 4 * 2.375 which is 9.5 inches.

Set up a proportion for the rest of the problem

1 package / 9.5 inches tape = x packages / 1900 inches tape.

Multiply both sides by 1900

1*1900 / 9.5 = x

1900/9.5 = x

x = 200 packages.
