If the  sum of five consecutive integers equals 5.5 times the middle integer, then;

x-3+x-2+x-1+x+x+1 = 5.5(x-1)

5x - 5 = 5.5x - 5.5

Collect the like terms

5x-5.5x = -5.5 + 5

-0.5x = -0.5

x = 1

The integers are therefore -2, -2, 0, 1 and 2
