²²⁷₉₀ Th is the daughter nucleus (nuclide) produced when ac227 undergoes beta decay by emitting an electron.

A fast energetic electron or positron called a beta particle is released from an atomic nucleus during beta decay, which changes the original nuclide into an isobar of that nuclide. When a nucleus has too many protons or neutrons, beta decay happens when one of the protons or neutrons is converted into the other. A neutron decays into a proton, an electron, and an antineutrino in beta minus decay: n p + e - +.

During beta decay, an unstable nucleus undergoes the conversion of a neutron into a proton, so

¹₀ n  ---->  ₁¹p +   ₋₁⁰e    ( Z + 1 )

The complete reaction is as follows:

²²⁷₈₉AC -----> ²²⁷₉₀ Th  +  ₋₁⁰e

Therefore, the daughter nucleus is ²²⁷₉₀ Th.

What is an advantage of a peer review of a scientific paper
Svet_ta [14]
The main advantage is that the paper which you wrote gets checked and assessed for its quality which enables you to see whether what you did was actually worth it and any good. If it's not and it wasn't worth it, it would mean that what you did wasn't particularly useful nor helpful.

  • The single bond is called Alkanes e.g. Methane, Propane etc.
  • Double bonds are called alkenes e.g. Ethylene, Propylene etc.
  • Triple bonds are called alkynes e.g. Ethyne, Propyne, Butyne etc.

How is the types of venation in a plant related to the types of root it has and the number of cotyledons in its seeds?
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

dicotyledonous

Explanation:

The veinlets form a network in the leaf lamina that is why the type of venation reticulate meaning network. So all dicots have dicotyledonous seeds, a tap root system and leaves with reticulate venation. ( with some exceptions of dicots having parallel venation in leaves like Calophyllum)
