Physical activity is any voluntary, skeletal muscle-driven movement that consumes energy. Any activity can be categorized as physical exercise, regardless of its intensity or the time of day or night. Included are both planned and unexpected activities incorporated into daily routines.

Physical activity is the activity we engage in on a daily basis along with some deliberate physical workouts that can assist increase physical stamina and strength. Fitness results from this. Aerobic workouts are a contributing factor to physical fitness since they serve to strengthen the cardiovascular system. Simple gardening and low-intensity physical activity are insufficient to acquire physical fitness. As these won't entail muscular or cardio workouts that can increase strength and endurance.
