He blamed them for attempting to undermine his agenda despite having majorities in both the House and Senate. Obama's administration, which promised to cut back on conflicts and expand operations against Al Qaeda and other extreme groups in Yemen, Africa, central Asia, and the Middle East, failed.

Each of the three presidents increased military spending.
