A three banded isoenzyme pattern with a 1:2:1 intensity ratio indicates a <u>dimeric</u> protein.

  • Isozyme is a multimeric forms of enzyme having similar specificity of the substrate but differences in kinetics and molecular weights of the enzymes.
  • The banding patterns of isozyme observed from electrophoresis is related to the genetic conditions in which different combination of polypeptide chains exhibited under the mendelian principles.
  • Hence with the intensity of 1:2:1 ratio, three banded phenotypes are formed having two homomeric and one heteromeric form from the dimeric protein in both multiple alleles at single loci and multiple /single allele at multiple loci.

<h2>Alcoholic Fermentation</h2>

Explanation:

  • Two attributes of regular wines are that they have a most maximum alcohol content of 14% and are "sparkling" wines.
  • In natural wines, after the ethyl alcohol and are <em>"shimmering" wines. </em>
  • <em>In regular wines, after the ethyl liquor fixation arrives at 14%, the liquor murders the yeast cells, making aging stop. The bubble or shimmer in wines is the collection of CO2. </em>
  • Yeast keep on aging sugars until they either come up short on nourishment or the liquor content gets sufficiently high to slaughter them.
  • The  most wine yeasts, 14% is higher than they can tolerate. There are, be that as it may, yeasts that the merchants<em> guarantee can tolerate higher alcoholic rates.</em>

(2pts) While doing this experiment, it will be important to keep everything on ice. Why is it important to keep everything cold?
mart [117]

Answer:

Temperature is an essential aspect in any experiment as it can affect the various variables of the experiment. It can affect the result and outcomes of an experiment as per the interaction various molecules shows with the temperature.

In molecular biology related experiments that deals with the protein related experiments are also effected by the temperature as enzymatic reactions are slow on low temperature and proteins are also act like enzymes. On high temperature protein may lead to increase in collisions of the molecules of protein and fasten the enzymatic reaction and may lead to degrade the protein.
