Answer is Healthclub A costs $33 less in monthly fees than Healthclub B

The number next to the “x” is your rate.

So Healthclub A charges $33 less than B

A charges 27 monthly fee

B charges 60 monthly fee

60-27=33

Three of the sides will require fencing and the fourth wall already exists. If the farmer has 116 feet of fencing, what are the
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

29 ft x 58 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the length of each side perpendicular to the wall, and y be the length of the side parallel to the wall.

The amount of wire available is:

116 = 2x+y\\y=116-2x

The area of the region is:

A=xy=x(116-2x)\\A(x)=116x-2x^2

The value of 'x' for which the derivate of the area function is zero will yield the maximum area:

A(x)=116x-2x^2\\A'(x) = 116-4x=0\\x=29\ ft

The value of y is:

y=116-2*29\\y=58\ ft

The dimensions of the region with the largest area are 29 ft x 58 ft.

Find the slope of the line represented by the data on the picture
arsen [322]

Answer:

slope = - 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula and any 2 ordered pairs from the table.

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 2, 8) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (- 1, 4) ← 2 points from the table

m = \frac{4-8}{-1+2} = \frac{-4}{1} = - 4

How many solutions can be found for the equation −4x − 11 = 2(x − 3x) + 13?
Virty [35]
0, No solution.
-4x-11=2 (x-3x)+13
-4x-11=2 (-2x)+13
-4x-11=-4x+13
-11 is not equal to 13 so there is no solution
