The total power delivered by the battery is 32W.

What is total power?

The total power in a series circuit can be described as one that is equal to the sum of the power that is been dissipated by the individual resistors.

The total power delivered by the battery can be calculated using the formula below:

Pp= [(Δv)^2/ R]

=4 [(Δv)^2/ 2R]

=4Ps

where Ps= power in the series =  8.00 W

R= resistance

=4*8W

=32W

Therefore, total power delivered by the battery is 32W.

The coefficient of kinetic friction between an object and the surface upon which it is sliding is 0.40 the weight of the object
Ann [662]

The frictional force of an object is the product of the normal force and coefficient of kinetic friction. Here the frictional force acting on the object is 16.4 N.

What is frictional force?

Frictional force is a kind of force acting on a body to resist it from motion. Thus, the direction of the force will be in negative with the magnitude. Frictional force is the product of coefficient of friction and the normal force.

The normal force acting on the object of mass 4.2 Kg is N = mg

N = 4.2 Kg × 9.8 m/s² = 41.16 N

Frictional force = ц N

                         = 0.40 × 41.16 N

                         = 16.4 N.

Therefore, the frictional force acting between the surface of the object and the floor is 16.4 N

Which statement best describes how the period and frequency of electromagnetic waves change between gamma rays and microwaves?
Dimas [21]
On an electromagnetic spectrum, one of its noticeable trends is that the wavelength increases with decreasing energy and the wavelength decrease with increasing energy. Furthermore, gamma rays have high energy and short wavelengths while microwaves have low energy and long wavelengths.
