In the figure below, a force F1 of magnitude 6.30 units acts on a crate at the origin in a direction = 27.0° above the positive

x-axis. A second force F2 of magnitude 5.00 units acts on the crate in the direction of the positive y-axis. Find graphically the magnitude and direction (in degrees counterclockwise from the +x-axis) of the resultant force F1 + F2.

The resultant force has of magnitude 9.66N and at an angle of 54.4° above the x axis.

<h3>What is the resultant force?</h3>

The resultant force and is obtained by using the cosine.

Let the resultant force is be F

F = \sqrt{F_{1}^{2} + {F_{2}^{2} - 2*{F_{1} + {F_{2} *cos (90 +27)}

F = \sqrt{6.3^{2} + 5^{2} - 2*6.3 + 5 *cos (117)}

F = 9.66 unit

Using the sine rule to determine the direction:

9.66/sin 117 = 5/sin x

x = Sin⁻¹(5 * sin 117/9.66)

x = 27.4°

Therefore the direction is 27.4 + 27 = 54.4°

calculate minimum number of incident photons per area and of the minimum dose needed to visualize an object of 1 mm squared usin
Lynna [10]

Answer:

minimum number of photon is 4.05 × 10^{7}

Explanation:

given data

energy = 50 keV = 50 × 10^{3} eV =  50 × 10^{3} × 1.602× 10^{-19}  J

thickness = 10^-3

contrast = 1%

to find out

number of incident photons

solution

we know here equation that is

E  = n  × h  × ν   .......................1

put here all these value

50 × 10^{3} = n × 6.6× 10^{-34} × c/ 1× 10^{-3}

50 × 10^{3} × 1.602× 10^{-19}  = n × 6.6× 10^{-34} ×( 3 × 10^{8} / 1× 10^{-3})

solve it and find n

n = 4.05 × 10^{7}

so here minimum number of photon is 4.05 × 10^{7}

A professional baseball player can throw the ball around 45 m/s if the distance between the pitcher and the batter is 18.39 m. H
svetlana [45]

Answer:

The time taken for the ball to get to the batter is 0.41 s.

Explanation:

Given;

initial velocity of the baseball, u = 45 m/s

horizontal distance between the pitcher and the batter, X = 18.39 m

The horizontal distance or range of a projectile is given as;

X = ut

where;

t is the time of flight

u is the initial velocity

t = X / u

t = 18.39 / 45

t = 0.41 s

Therefore, the time taken for the ball to get to the batter is 0.41 s.
