The amount (mol) of the compound in 15.8 kg of Fe(ClO₄)₃ is 0.044 moles.

What is a mole?

The mole is the smallest unit of the atom which use to represent how many atoms moles or molecules are used in a chemical process or in a chemical reaction which is always equal to 2.303 ×10²³ moles for one atom.

To calculate the mass of 0.68 mol of KMnO₄ the formula will use is,

                number of moles = mass / molar mass

molar mass of  Fe(ClO₄)₃ = 354.19

mass of  Fe(ClO₄)₃ = 15.8kg

substituting the value in the equation,

               number of moles = 15.8kg / 354.19

              number of moles = 0.044 moles

Therefore, 0.044 moles is the amount (mol) of the compound in 15.8 kg of Fe(ClO₄)₃.

How is iron extracted? Describe in brief
Feliz [49]

Answer:Iron is extracted from iron ore in a huge container called a blast furnace. Iron ores such as haematite contain iron(III) oxide, Fe 2O 3. The oxygen must be removed from the iron(III) oxide in order to leave the iron behind. Reactions in which oxygen is removed are called reduction reactions.

Which statement about metamorphic and sedimentary rocks is true?
yaroslaw [1]
The answer is C. Earth movements can origin rocks to be intensely suppressed or clutched. As an outcome, the rocks are heated and put below unlimited pressure. They do not dissolve, but the minerals they cover are altered chemically, making metamorphic rocks.

A reaction requires 22.4l of at stp. You have 32.0l of gas at 398k and 105.6 kpa. Will you have enough gas to carry out the reac
Morgarella [4.7K]
Answer: FALSE:

Explanation:

A reaction requires 22.4l of at STP. You have 32.0l of gas at 398k and 105.6 kpa.

1) STP stands for standard temperature and pressure.

2) Standard temperature is 0°C or 273.15 K

3) Standard pressure is 1 atm or 1013.25 kPa

4) use the ideal gas equation for both contidions

pV = n RT

=> n * R = pV /T

at STP n * R = 1031.25 kPa * 22.4 liter / 273.15 K = 84.5

at T = 398 K, p = 105.6 kPa, and V = 3.2.0 liter:

n * R = 105.6 kPa * 32.0 liter / 398 K = 8.49

Since R is a constant (the Universal Gases Constant), it is evident that the number of moles in the 32.0 liter of gas, at T = 398 K and P = 105.6 kPa is less than the number of moles of the 22.4 liter gas at STP.

There is not enough gas to carry out the reaction.
