The correct option is "A" i.e Severe illness of the child.

What is malnutrition?

When the body lacks the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients necessary to maintain healthy tissues and organ function, malnutrition sets in.

People who are either undernourished or overnourished can develop malnutrition. In contrast to nutritional deficiencies, dietary imbalances cause higher childhood malnutrition in the United State

When vital nutrients are not sufficiently consumed or are lost more quickly than they can be supplied, undernutrition results. Overeating, eating the wrong stuff, not exercising enough, and taking excessive amounts of vitamins or other nutritional supplements all contribute to overnutrition. Being more than 20% overweight or consuming a diet high in fat and salt both raise the risk of overnutrition.

The nurse is caring for a child who is frequently hospitalized with either an injury or infection. On further assessment of the child's medical history, the nurse finds that the child had delayed immunization and malnutrition. What possible reason does the nurse consider for delayed immunization and malnutrition in the child?

(A)Severe illness of the child

(B)Improper growth of the child

(C)Physical abuse by the parents

(D)Physical neglect by the parents

give,at least ,three examples of inhumane farming methods and motivate why you regard them as inhumane
valentinak56 [21]

Three examples of inhumane farming methods:

 1. Using Antibiotics and hormone to encourage high-yielding animals. The overuse of antibiotics in food-producing animals increases in resistant bacteria and when these bacterias are passed to humans they can cause serious illness.
 2. Cage hen: to save space the animal are crammed together in cages typically indoors, space where they can barely move around.
 3. Factory farming is an industrial facility that raises large numbers of farm animals such as pigs, chickens or cows in intensive confinement where their movements are extremely inhibited.

Further Explanation

Inhumane farming methods is a practice where animals are treated as a commodity to increase productivity. The word inhumane means cruel and heartless. Animals are treated badly, crammed together with little space, limited or no natural light or stimuli and preventing them from normal behaviors such as nesting or foraging. Animals are suffering because of these unnatural and inhumane conditions.

Inhumane farming methods not only bad for the animal but also bad for human health. This method creates other health hazards because of the over-crowded condition and stressful animal which makes it easy for disease to spread.
