In first figure there is reflection but it is not present in the second figure due to absence of bouncing back of ray of light.

In the first figure which is given the image shows the inverted image of the triangle A that is the reflection of Figure A . Reflection as per the definition is the bouncing back of light wave when it is touched to a thing or obstacle. It form a image in opposite direction.

So according to it Figure A in first pair is the reflection of figure B.

Whereas in figure B there is no reflection as the mirror image is shown and not the opposite or inverted image is there.

Mirror image is the image same as the object shown or kept. so its not the reflection of Figure A. In Pair 2 Figure A is not a reflection of Figure B.
