Answer:

∠ A = 42°

Step-by-step explanation:

the sum of the 3 angles in a triangle = 180°

sum the 3 angles and equate to 180

x + 47 + x + 81 + 62 = 180

2x + 190 = 180 ( subtract 190 from both sides )

2x = - 10 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = - 5

Then

∠ A = x + 47 = - 5 + 47 = 42°

All the angles in a triangle equal 180°, so you’d set up the equation like this:

Equation:

180=62+(x+81)+(x+47)

this may look complicated at first, but i assure you, it’s really not.

*subtract 62 from both sides*

118=(x+81)+(x+47)

*simplify*

118=2x+128

*subtract 128*

-10=2x

*divide by 2*

-5=x

now we have x, we can plug it in for side A.

-5+47=42.

your answer is 42

The length of the hypotenuse of a 30 60 90 triangle is 11. What is the perimeter?
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

Perimeter of the triangle is 26.015\\ units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a 30-60-90 degree angled triangle

Let us calculate the length of side opposite the 30 degree angle

= \frac{1}{2} *hypotenuse

= \frac{1}{2} * 11\\= 5.5 units

length of side opposite the 60 degree angle

= 5.5 * \sqrt{3} \\= 5.5 * 1.73\\= 9.515 units

The perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of length of all three sides

Thus, the perimeter of this 30-60-90 degree angled triangle  is

11 + 5.5 + 9.515\\= 26.015\\ units

Thus, the  perimeter of the triangle is 26.015\\ units
