The dimensions of the rectangles to the nearest hundredth are

  • length = 13.56 inches
  • width = 3.39 inches

<h3>What is a rectangle?</h3>

A rectangle is four sided plane figure which each pair of sides equal and opposite to each other. The sides intersect at an angle of 90 degrees.

<u>Given data</u>

Area of the rectangle = 46 square inches

length L = 4 * width W

area of a rectangle, A

A = L * W

46 = L * W

46 = 4w * w

46 = 4w^2

w^2 = 11.5

w = sqrt ( 11.5 )

w = 3.391 inches

w = 3.39 to the nearest hundredth

since L = 4w

L = 4 * 3.391

L = 13.564

L = 13.56 to the nearest hundredth

I HAVE ASKED THIS TWICE NOW YOU GUYS!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT TEST I WILL GIV
lubasha [3.4K]
Ok so 12 in. = 1ft
210 in = 17.5 ft
35 in = about 2.9 ft
17.5/2.9 = approximately 6 ft.
I think the answer is 6 ft
At the same time 210/35 = 6, which would make the length 6 in., because area equals base times height, so you just divide, which would make it 1/2ft.
I would go with 6 in.

For which function is f(x) equal to f^-1(x)?
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]
We will find the inverse of the given functions:
 y = x + 2 / x-2
 (x-2) y = x + 2
 -2y + xy = x + 2
 -2y + xy = x + 2
 x (y - 1) = 2 + 2y
 x (y - 1) = 2 (y + 1)
 x = 2 (y + 1) / (y - 1)
 f (x) ^ - 1 = 2 (x + 1) / (x - 1)
 The inverse is different.
 f (x) = x + 1 / x-1

y = x + 1 / x-1
 (x-1) y = x + 1
 -y + xy = x + 1
 x (y - 1) = 1 + y
 x (y - 1) = (y + 1)
 x = (y + 1) / (y - 1)
 f (x) ^ - 1 = (x + 1) / (x - 1)
 The inverse is the same.
 Answer:

f (x) = x + 1 / x-1

f (x) ^ - 1 = (x + 1) / (x - 1)
 f (x) = f (x) ^ - 1

Is it possible for a composite number to have more than one prime factorization? Is it possible for a number to have no prime fa
Nitella [24]
Prime factors are factors of a composite number that are indivisible except by the number 1 or the number itself. The answers to your questions are the following:

1. Yes, it is possible especially for very large numbers.
2&3. No, because as mentioned previously, the default prime factors of numbers are 1 and the number itself. For example, 2 is a prime number. Its factors are 1 and 2.
4. Prime factorization are useful in fields of encryption. They make use of the basic prime numbers for the arithmetic modulus with the general equation: n=pq.

Match the range of the function f(x) = x2 + 2x − 1 to its domain.
umka21 [38]

Answer: (2,7) (-2,-9) (3,11) (-3,-13)

Step-by-step explanation:

(2)(2)+(2)(2)-1 = 7

(2) (-2)+(2)(-2)-1 = -9

(3)(2)+(2)(3)-1 = 11

(-3)(2)+(2)(-3)-1 = -13
