The unit of measurement is very important because it tell us about the property of something for instance the volume of a cylinder.

The importance of units is that it helps us to know the quantity of the object or substance, for example, 35Kg of fuel , allow is to know the quantity of the amount of the fuel.

The situation that could go wrong because there are no units is when someone is been told to measure 10 fuel, without unit one might measure more because it was not stated may be its kg or g.

A unit of measurement  can be described as the  definite magnitude of a quantity, which is been adopted by convention as well as  law,  and it is a  standard for measurement of the same kind of quantity.

It also allows some other quantity of that kind can be expressed as a multiple of the unit of measurement, hence The unit of measurement is very important because it tell us about the property of something for instance the volume of a cylinder.
