The correct answer is B) Unemployment was high and working conditions were poor.

The primary problem for Palestinians who lived on the West Bank was that unemployment was high and working conditions were poor.

The area of the West Bank is a complicated and controversial problem because Jewish settlement continues and Palestinians don’t agree with this.

The West Bank is a portion of land east of Israel. Nearly three million Palestinians live there. In 1967, Israel took control of this territory near the Dead Sea. Palestinian considered the Jewish establishment as an intrusion because they illegally occupied Palestinian land.

In 1967, Israel declared war on Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Israel won and took the West Bank and the East part of Jerusalem from Jordan. The name of this confrontation is called the Six-Day War.
