It refers to the decentralized platform whereby two individuals interact directly with each other without an intermediation by a third party. Rather, the buyer & seller transact directly with each other via the P2P service. The P2P platform also provide services such as search, screening, rating, payment processing, or escrow.

What is the primary reason England passed the Navigation Acts ?
inysia [295]

Answer:

England wanted to maintain control of the economic gains in the colonies and to continue with the mercantilist system.

Explanation:

The British Parliament passed a series of Navigation Acts beginning in 1651 that helped them to regulate trade to and from the colonies, as well as in between them or with other nations.  The British economy was mercantilist meaning they used the wealth and profits that they could glean from the colonies and industries to add to the finances of the state and to make the British empire more powerful. Colonies like the Americas were thus important for maintaining trade surpluses so that the treasury would receive greater flows of silver and gold. This was the predominant economic model organizing Europe and its colonies from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Free trade was not allowed from the colonies to other nations and the European powers exercised imperialism to maintain their control. The Navigation Acts are considered instrumental to the dissatisfaction of the American colonists with the status quo and they are considered one of the important drivers for the later American revolution.

¿Qué importancia tiene la obra de Ollantay desde el punto de vista histórico y literario?
Travka [436]

Answer:

Ollantay is a colonial-style drama of Quechua origin, its original author is Antonio Valdes.

The most accepted position today is that the story told in the drama is of Inca origin, which was long preserved as an oral tradition, until in the colonial era it was adapted for its theatrical staging according to the western mold, although the author or authors of said adaptation remain anonymous. It was first published in 1857 by Johann Jakob von Tschudi, in Quechua and German. The first version in Castilian appeared in Lima, in 1868, published by José Sebastián Barranca and subtitled The rigors of a father and the generosity of a king; Since then, different versions have appeared in different languages.

Explanation:

The Ollantay is written in verse and divided into three acts. There is tolerance in measure and freedom in the rhyme. The predominant verse is the octosyllable that alternates with the hendecasyllable. As for the rhyme, the asonantada prevails; However, there are many white verses, which is why it is considered one of the richest literary works with great cultural knowledge.

Not only because it expresses or manifests past cultures but also has a strong dramatic base.

It was a work recognized around the world where it was released in many languages, and was even copied in many situations.

Today there are several hypotheses based on this account.

Compare and contrast the rise and fall of Germany and Japan during the period of World War II.
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

As is commonly accepted, the German Reich and Imperial Japan were allies in WW2. Maybe not surprisingly ,these two countries had embarked on similar ambitions at the eve of WW2, and their most important goals were to dramatically expand their sphere of influence, extend national borders by aquiring possessions from other countries and to grab hold of important resources (oil, strategic metal ores and land areas). Both countries developed a fierce nationalistic and racial code of hegemony. It followed that their adversaries were labeled as of inferior quality, and in wartime moves ,this usually carried with it contempt and harsh treatment of enemies. The Geneva code of warfare was mainly ignored by both countries. The defining element of cruelty was in the case of Nazi Germany, a monstrous master plan for the annihilation of the Jews. Which was also implemented on a gruesome scale. This appears to have no actual connection to the German war effort. Similarly, actions taken by Imperial Japan against the Chinese, bears the same mark of cruelty, if not in level or planned implementation (or motives) as with the German persecution of the Jews. Nevertheless, ruthlessness on an almost unprecedented scale was used against what was seen as the racially inferior , prisoners of war and occupied nations.
