James will pay 423.11 term installment if if he pays 12% pa simple interest and repairs over a period of 18 months.

According to the given question.

Cost of the gas grill is 7800.

Amount of money paid by James is 1000.

Rate of the installment is 12%.

And time period is 18 months.

Therefore,

Term installment

= [(7800 - 1000)( 1 + 12%)]/18

=  [(7800 - 1000)( 1 + 0.12)]/18

= 423.11

Hence, James will pay 423.11 term installment if if he pays 12% pa simple interest and repairs over a period of 18 months.

Can someone help geometry is confusing
NikAS [45]

<LMP and <NMP are supplementary angles so sum = 180

<LMP +  <NMP = 180

(-16x + 13) + ( - 20x + 23) = 180

-16x + 13  - 20x + 23 = 180

-36x + 36 = 180

-36x = 144

    x = -4

<LMP = -16x + 13 = -16(-4) + 13 = 77

<NMP = - 20x + 23 = - 20(-4)  + 23 = 103

Answer

<LMP  = 77°

<NMP  = 103°

Find the length of the third side. If necessary, round to the nearest tenth
Lilit [14]

\huge\bold{Given:}

Length of the base = 8

Length of the hypotenuse = 17

\huge\bold{To\:find:}

The length of the third side ''x".

\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{\orange{Solution}}{\orange{:}}}}}

\longrightarrow{\purple{x\:=\: 15}}

\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{\red{Step-by-step\:explanation}}{\red{:}}}}}

Using Pythagoras theorem, we have

(Perpendicular)² + (Base)² = (Hypotenuse)²

\longrightarrow{\blue{}} {x}^{2} + (8)² = (17)²

\longrightarrow{\blue{}} {x}^{2} + 64 = 289

\longrightarrow{\blue{}}  {x}^{2} = 289 - 64

\longrightarrow{\blue{}}  {x}^{2} = 225

\longrightarrow{\blue{}}  x = \sqrt{225}

\longrightarrow{\blue{}}  x = 15

Therefore, the length of the missing side x is 15.

\huge\bold{To\:verify :}

\longrightarrow{\green{}} (15)² + (8)² = (17)²

\longrightarrow{\green{}} 225 + 64 = 289

\longrightarrow{\green{}} 289 = 289

\longrightarrow{\green{}} L.H.S. = R. H. S.

Hence verified.
