a study looked at employee behavior, namely absenteeism, promptness to work, and turnover. the study found that % of the emp

loyees had problems with absenteeism, also, % had problems with turnover. suppose that % of the employees had problems with both absenteeism and turnover. use this information to find the probability that an employee selected from the group surveyed had problems with either absenteeism or turnover.

Probability that a randomly chosen employee from the survey group experienced issues with either absenteeism / turnover is 0.80.

What is probability?

 • The mathematical foundation that enables logically coherent analysis of chance events is known as probability theory. An event's probability is a numerical representation of how likely it is that the event will take place.
 • The expectations of a stochastic process is a sum that makes an effort to approximate the distribution's midpoint.
 • The variance of such a random variable measures the spread of such a random variable's distribution, whereas expectation offers a measure of centrality.

P(Absence from Work) = 0.50

P(Turnover) equals 0.60

Turnover AND Absenteeism P = 0.30

If absenteeism OR turnover, then what?

Turnover AND Absenteeism = Absenteeism + Turnover - Absenteeism (Absenteeism AND Turnover)

= 0.50 Plus 0.60 minus 0.30

= 0.80

Probability that a randomly chosen employee from the survey group experienced issues with either absenteeism / turnover is 0.80.

Kudrey was making a box plot. He first plotted the least and greatest data values. He then divided the distance into half, and t
faltersainse [42]
By definition, a box plot is defined as a convenient way of graphically depicting groups of numerical data. Using the quartiles of the numerical data, you can be able to plot where there are lines extending vertically form boxes. Kudrey wrongly divided the box because, we are talking about the "quartiles" not that equal part like a fraction.

Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
H = 3.

FIRST STEP:
Add 1 to both sides to get rid of the -1 on the left side.
4h-1 = 3h+2
4h-1 (+1) = 3h+2 (+1)
4h = 3h+3

SECOND (FINAL) STEP:
Subtract 3h from both sides to get rid of the 3h on the right side.
4h(-3h) = 3h+3 (-3h)
h = 3
Hope this helps, sorry if it's hard to understand :)
