Buying products produced in another country is known as importing.

Exporting is selling products done in the country abroad.

Trade protectionism is a State's disposition that interferes with free trade in order to protect and encourage local production.  It consists of barriers to importation, like heavy duties or prohibition of importing certain products.

Comparative advantage is the specialization in the production of a certain good that has lower opportunity costs of production than competitors. For example, a country with plains and grasslands has a comparative advantage for specialization in agriculture.

As you can see, importing is the correct answer, because it consists of buying goods and services abroad for consumption in one's country.

In the United States and Canada:_______.
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

This paper looks at the prospects for union renewal in Canada and the United States comes from a study and analysis of recent trends in activism, collective bargaining and political action. While workers have dedicated significant effort and money to new measures, the overall investigation points us to assumptions which are largely negative.

The degree and trajectory of union density levels suggests that in order to pursue sustainable recovery, the two labor groups lack the structural structures and public policies.

Answer:

The correct answer is decrease; tightening.

Explanation:

If the FED reduces the money supply, it can cause interest rates to rise and credit conditions to tighten. If there is no change in the demand for money, the effect of reducing the money supply is said to lead to higher interest rates. For its part, another effect is to decrease the volume of loans made.

abruzzese [7]

Answer:

Alcohol is alcohol, and depedning on your weight, even just 2 drinks in your system would be enough for you to be considered impaired. Your friend may feel fine, but after several drinks they are not functioning as well as they should, and will still get in trouble with the police if they get pulled over and are breathalized. Tell your friend that you will drive home; if you both have had drinks, find someone else to drive you or call a taxi. It doesn't matter if it was 1 drink or 6, alcohol is alcohol.
