Acquired specific immunity involves the response of b) B and T Lymphocytes

B and T Lymphocytes are responsible for providing Acquired specific immunity to the body.

B and T Lymphocytes are formed in the bone marrow and for maturation T Lymphocytes transfers to the Thymus of the body whereas B-Lymphocytes remain confined to bone marrow for maturation and proliferation as well.

B lymphocytes provide Antibody Mediated immunity to the body which forms a part of the Acquired specific immunity of the body whereas T-lymphocytes provide Cell Mediated immunity to the body which forms a part of the Acquired specific immunity of the body.

Acquired specific immunity is acquired by the body during its lifetime on the countering of various infections and acting accordingly.

It is not present since birth hence it is not Innate.

What is the DEPENDENT variable in this experiment? (Hint: What depends on the independent variable?)
Nutka1998 [239]
Could you give more information? For the most part, the dependent variable is what you’re recording. For example, if you wanted to see how plants would grow in different conditions, plant height would be the dependent variable. The height DEPENDS on the condition it was grown in. Hope this helps!

Which statement most accurately explains how allosteric regulation can change an enzyme's catalytic activity? View Available Hin
Digiron [165]

Answer:

In allosteric inhibition, a regulatory molecule binds to a location other than the active site, resulting in a change in enzyme shape that allows the active site to bind substrate.

Explanation:

Allosteric regulation of an enzyme can be positive or negative, but it always involves effector molecules that bind to non-active site of the enzyme and change its conformation. That site of binding is called allosteric or regulatory site. If the enzyme activity is enhanced effector molecule is called allosteric activator but if the activity is decreased effector molecules are allosteric inhibitors.
